Feeling Covid Casual?

An unfinished basement is a treasure trove of square footage, perfect for bars, game rooms, wine cellars, and home theaters. Although my clients are really looking forward to traveling again after COVID, the thing they’re looking forward to most is being with family and friends. There’s a pent-up desire to entertain at home, but in a more casual way.
 
Due to the Zoom phenomenon, our co-workers, business associates, and far flung friends have already been invited into our homes, for better or for worse. Just as our clothing has become more comfortable, so too are our relationships. Kids, pets, and chaos have made unexpected (and sometimes hysterical) guest appearances into our “workplaces”, making it virtually impossible to maintain pretenses.
 
The vast expanse of a lower level offers a unique opportunity to create a flow for relaxed entertaining. Watching the big game, playing pool, screening a movie, hosting a wine tasting, or playing board games become their own reason for having a group of friends get together. Order pizza and you have a party!
